What to Expect

What to wear

Clothing: For our intro classes you can wear leggings or shorts. Shorts will allow yourself to stick to the pole and are encouraged but not required. Wear what you are most comfortable in!

Layers: Consider wearing layers that you can easily remove as you warm up during the class. Leggings with shorts underneath and a tank top with a light jacket or hoodie can be a good combination.

Footwear: Most pole dancing classes are done barefoot, so no special footwear is required. However, you might want to bring socks if your feet are sensitive.

Avoid: Try to avoid wearing jewelry, as it can get caught on the pole or your clothing. Also, avoid putting on lotion before class since it can cause the poles to be extra slippery.

Entering the studio

Enter through the back door: The entrance to the studio is through the back door located in the parking lot. Look for signage or directions indicating where to enter.

Take off your shoes: It's required to remove your shoes before entering the lobby and main studio area. This helps keep the floor clean and safe for everyone.

Navigate to the lobby: Follow signs or directions to find your way to the lobby area. This is where you can check in, fill out any necessary paperwork, and wait for further instructions.

Wait for a greeting: If an instructor is currently teaching a class when you arrive, you may need to wait briefly in the lobby until they are available to greet you. They will ensure you feel welcomed and provide any additional information you may need before your class begins.

What class to sign up for

New to pole dancing, we recommend signing up for our Intro to Pole class. This class is specifically designed for beginners and provides a solid foundation in pole dancing techniques and safety practices.

Experience with pole dancing, we encourage you to review our detailed class descriptions or reach out to us directly. This ensures you find a class that aligns with your skill level and goals, allowing you to make the most out of your pole dancing journey.
